The max they ever seem to give is 7 days but then you have to make up for it by working on weekends. Just don't understand the logic, especially for a country that's so big with longer travel times necessary to get home.
Because they've realised that humans can get very lazy and demotivated sitting around doing nothing for too long so there's the fear that many workers just wont return to work. Plus Chinese are robots so they don't need rest. That's why they can build a new motorway in 48 hours. We foreigners, however, NEEEEEED a longer break!!!!
Same reason coffee breaks are so short.
Too hard to retrain them after a long break. lol
Lolitta, are you trying to say foreigners are better to understand that after a LOOOOOOONG holiday, we know how to get back to work? When you think about it, we're robots too, working 5d/w, sitting on a desk doing whatever we're paid for.
The only difference is that most westerners have enough money to entertain ourselves while at work, may it be surfing the internet, playing chess with a efriend or stretch your tummy with sugar-filled coffee. The inconvenient is that we want to drink tea in order to lose weight, or try to find a low-fat food to swallow before going to sleep... Everybody haz their little - or not so little - problems...
Chinese people get used to work hard, especially for the old ones. You know, decades ago, there was 6 working days per week. Most people do not understand when the 5 working day came out.
i guess chinese boss consider chinese workers as slaves and they want to make more money out of them,
Look how many National Holidays china has. If everyone where a week long this Courtney would be on Holiday for ever.
