Q: Why are Chinese women gold diggers?
I received an offer for weekly sex for a year in exchange for an IPad.

they are gold diggers because their forefathers pursued the revolution and 1 child policy. so all the materialistic advantages they seen is just because of the money, relationships and any other abstract things,attachments, friendship do not count for them, well to certain age it does but they have kept their meanness in it. so Chinese whether male or female will be gold-digger...........

well said Crimo...yes there are different types of women and can't be generalized that all Chinese women are gold diggers. May be someone has to be lucky to get a good one. I was also offered sex for ipad from a girl a year ago. I denied saying that I would rather use two ipads and watch XXX and release myself than pay for her. Or, I could simply go to hookers whenever I needed rather than having same one all the time. It is not about buying sex cheaper or expensive but ethics and moral. I stick to them and finally found a nice lady who has not much demand (quite similar with my German ex.). What i learned is that If a girl is nice and understanding you can even make them understand your way of living. As discussed repeatedly about gold digging habit about Chinese girls, I found not applicable to all. Now, in my case, what I spend on her, she spends almost similar amount on me. May be one need to be patient to get decent girl and rather jumping fast in any conclusion he should try to teach her a little bit of your way. Then see how it works. At my institute two co-workers (French and Swedish) are happily married and settled in China and now i might be next............anyway..well said Crimo and happy to read a positive comment...

I understand your perspective but disagree about being an asshole. Lol I was blessed with many talents in the area of courtship and have never had to pay 4 sex. Mostly I don't have to try so hard to stop women in random places or put so much effort into trying to pick women up. It's not my fault that I am a handsome young man or that I receive offers as I described. I do draw my conclusion with some personal experience because in all the other countries that I've been to I never received an offer like that. I do uNderstand how you feel though And I also know that jealousy make you nasty. :)

I think this is caused by the wealth gap in china. Everyone wants status. And women here are encouraged that it's better to find a rich man who can look after you than to work because it's too much effort. If a woman here has maste ror phd, it would be hell to find a man because a man would be too ashamed to date a woman which more education. And because marriage is so important, they prefer not doing so well, and finding a man who's rich enough.
I agree with what you, if you have watched the Chinese dating shows, it's all about how much the men make and if they house and car. So superficial.
