Q: Why are comments removed after a while?

Answers are there to stay, but the additional info in comments is often just as valuable. And they get removed after, what, 2-3 weeks?

The comments are still there. At the top left of each Answer it says 'comments'. You can click on that to expand them.

Samsara:

See above where it says 'comments (11)' in red.

Samsara:

OK, so I'm going to have to check in regularly and update my answer.

You should wait until exactly a week from now (whatever the time period for editing is) then sneakily add another comment. Then the number in my comment will be wrong for all time, and whenever I write anything, you can say "But Samsara was WRONG!"

You mean have icncf77 "fixed" like they do to dogs ? Seems fair to me.

That wouldn't necessarily resolve the problem.

I meant taken care of in the Vito Corleone sense. Is icnif Italian?

"He’s charging at us," Mr Barker told the emergency operator. "He’s at our door, bedroom door.

Do you remember the tune I was singing that day? @Scan & Sam????

Family calls police after angry cat holds them hostage" I'm going to have to fight this cat," father tells the emergency operator after family's pet cat, Lux, turned on them and started charging at the bedroom door

'It wasn't me!' O2

Can you imagine, you're cop answering 911 call? 'Cat is getting me, please help....'

Cats are very sensitive on the newcomer (baby) in the family, especially male cats. Before baby's birth, all attention was aimed to the cat. When baby was born, cat felt neglected, so it scratched competitor (baby), and get pissed at the other members of the clanyes.

I experienced that with my avatar pic and birth of my niece, however my cat was female, but we never left baby alone with the cat, till my niece wasn't 6 Y old, and became cat's buddy.
