Q: Why are international schools so expensive in China?

Why are international schools so expensive in china??? I just cannot undertstand...
It seems they are just reaping the money as all students there... fathers have free eductaion benefit from company..

But why is it that - say a chistian missionary scool not coming up in china... with no hunger for money?

privatisation is expensive everywhere man..... they are private schools. if some are semi-government or embassy schools they will be expensive as well. you are running an organistaion in foreigner country. application of alot of taxes and many other things in it. education is big business in china. you can see many private tuition school preparing students for cet, ilets, sat 1&2, gmat.....

Easy, where else can you go, if you have no other options than it makes it easier to gouge the crap out of expats. Besides that, most schools know that the majority of the Expats working for companies give stipends for housing, living, and education. So more gouging. SUCKS right

I dont think that Christian Missionary Schools can teach in the PRC...
