Q: Why are there so few new questions on this site now

Is it because people find the site boring now, without the banter that used to go on and so only a few bother posting questions. Or is it that for whatever reason admin deem the majority of questions inappropriate. At the moment there are only four questions looking for answers, including this one and two of those are five and six days old respectively.

Honestly, I don't think many are actual "questions" in as much as observations that get people to respond with their observations in the like.  I mean, I can't really help you if you are looking for the best restaurant in Nanjing, but I can "help" you if you ask why Chinese people "so and so"

There doesn't seem to be as much fun here as before. For me I was getting warnings and had too many posts harmonized. I post serious some times and try to be funny other times but I don't like putting thought into a post and it disappears. Aso lately typing is a problem, there is something wrong with this site.

Dunno.  But now I think of it, I do have a question.

How best to access pornography in China?  Can it be done without a VPN?

I ask this on behalf of a friend.  The poor bugger struggles even to think straight.

Do you think this question would be better posted as a question?

icnif77:

Don't ask that here! Any web links (I) posted here were all 'banned' shortly after.

I just asked one. Stop complaining!

royceH:

I just saw your new question and it's a real beauty!  Congratulations on it.

Now, any practical advice for the question above?  My friend, the halfwit,  is getting fidgety.

It will be closed by the 'Wall' shortly as it is posted. Just search Internet with word 'porn'.

maybe because most of the everyday stuff has been done to death .You can only talk about the near misses on the roads or the staring for so long before it becomes mundane .Sometimes people use this site as a search engine and don't do any other research.    To be honest one of the best questions was from Matty about how to stop people ,mainly kids falling out of windows .

maybe because most of the expats are on holiday back in their own countries while the ones still here are drunk to forget how bad it is to spend Christmas and new year's in china ?

royceH:

All in good time.  Still a little early in the day just yet.  Besides, got classes to front up to and sober is best for that.
