I dont know about others, but i am a top notch chopstick user. Some asians say that I am better than them at it.
Why all the ?'s about chopsticks?

all i know is i can eat very well with a fork knife and spoon without everyone hearing me eat my food ssssllllluuuurrrrppppp lol
All I can say to that is this: most Asians have used chopsticks since they were kids. Meaning: lots of practice!
However, I have noticed many adults are STILL using their chopsticks just as they
had learned as kids. They never bothered to learn the 'adult way'.
On the other hand, just watch how some Asians use a fork and a knife.
It is all about what we learned as kids...
Define 'properly'?
I have seen many Chinese who claim they use chopsticks in an 'odd' way however they can still get the food to their mouth, as can I and most waiguo ren.
Clearly you have never paid close attention to the way locals use a knife and fork.
Beause they do not know one end of a chopstick from another. They were not born with a silver chopstick in their mouth. I work well with chopsticks, but they are not ballanced properly . The tips are thinner so they are lighter at that end than the other. When they are place in a bowl after muse, they usually end up on the floor. The tips need to be heavier than the other end. Franck3
