Yes, I could google up the answer about this but I would rather hear from whomever on this site that lives in china as to why there are 3 types of currencies used in china? There are the rmb, kuai. and the yuan so what differences do these 3 currencies have from the other? Is it depending of where or what part of china one of these 3 are used?

I've never been there. I looked at Pataca's abbreviation: MOP.
I got to get some MOPs next week.
USA also has several different currencies: USD, dollar, buck, and the greenback.

DohRayMe
(uncommon, unusual)
and the most unusual of all !
Simoleons or Somoleons
(not sure how to spell, because probably rarely ever spelled,, never a legitimized slang term)
so, who the flip has ever heard that one? and who could give a sense of it's origin?
Spiderboenz:
It cracks me up that a video game currency has become a commonly accepted slang term for US Currency, as well as the fact that an ACTUAL COUNTRY has adopted it as the official currency.

See, how many different currencies are in China.
In China there are four if nor more currencies.
RMB
HKD
MOP
whatever they use in Taiwan
Bitcoin. That works here too. But you will need to bring a frequency convertor/transformer to plug your windows 95 desktop in. But that's no problem, plenty of space in your trailer to fit it in. Just be careful not to discard your used tissues on top of the transformer air vents. That could end in tears.
What ever you do... Don't bring Scottish Pounds. They only work in a few selected places worldwide. None of which are in China
cub:
scotsalan very funny hahahaha but a very asinine reply! ask a question get a stupid useless reply with or without sarcasm! its no wonder this site is useless!

only one currency: RMB, 3 or more different names (CNY, RMB, Kuai, Yuan...).
You are mistaken. The three major currencies are:
Guanxi a.k.a. Get Out Of Chengguang Free Card
Beauty a.k.a. pussy potential
Yuan RMB a.k.a. "kuai"
Some people attempt to make their family ties into currency, but it always boils down to guanxi, pussy or yuan RMB.
