Q: Why do chinese men grow finger nail or nails?
Is there a meaning to what nail men let grow out?
It is to show people that they don't do manual labor...it's almost like a status symbol.
And they also use them to dig through bodily orifices.
I've seen them fight, they slap like girls, so they probably scratch like them too....

Not only the guys do this. I have a female friend, her one pinky nail is super long. Apparently she uses it to clean out her ears. 
They lost their finger nail clippers can't afford any new one's or they are trying to set a Guiness World Record! 
In Puerto Rico, the long pinky nail on men is to snort coke. What with Chinas strict drug law i doubt it is the same situation here, so they probably saw it in a move and copied it.
Now, the long nails, that is still a mystery to me, Long hair, I dont mind (heck, I had it until I started to lose it) but the nails.....
