Q: Why do I think that Chinese massages are torture rituals?

Every time  I get a massage here I go in hoping that this time will be less painful and that I'll actually feel better afterwards. But I never do. Instead, I lie on the table grinding my teeth together trying not to scream and afterwards I feel aches and pains shooting through my body for about a week.

Because they are.

I got one once, felt like I had paid for someone to beat the crap out of me for 30 minutes.

Get the oil massage. It is quite soothing, none of that "digging" into the flesh. And , when they use the towel to dry off the oil, ...... hmmmmmmmm...... nice.......

The others are just painful.
