Q: Why do many Chinese subway commuters hang onto two handles?

You'll see them.. as everyone else is holding onto one, there they are holding onto two, taking up the space of one extra person. Soon, they'll start swingng back on forth on it like its gym equipment.

It's as bad as those people who hug a pole and don't let anyone else use it. C'mon, you're inconveniencing other people.

It starts when they are born. Due to tradition and poor education levels babies motor skills are developed slower than in western societies. The schoolsystem then takes over and prevent kids in being physically active and develop their motor skills. Thus you get a grown population that are unbalanced and need more support. And then they are selfish like no one else.
