Q: Why do men carry men purses in China?
I see men carry purses here, Why, we'd laugh at home. I carry too much stuff in my pockets in China. i don't always carry a cell phone at home just cause I don't like carrying crap. i went out today without my camera and wish I had taken it. It is so easy to take some great pictures in China, a never ending supply of weird or different subjects, plus so many pictures have something to say. If I'm walking I put all my stuff in my front pockets to prevent pick pockets. If I sit down I have to put everything in my rear pockets so I can bend my legs, but now I have to sit on the stuff. I don't like fanny packs and since most guys here carry purses, I bought one, don't pick on me or tell my friends. If you take my pic, I'll break your camera.. I'll add weight to mine in case I want to hit some one, one brick should do. How many of you guys carry purses? Do guys here carry much stuff? Is that why they carry them?
Come on you could have at least asked "Why do men carry manpurses?" or something like that to make it related to China...
I'm guilty of this. It's gets tiring having to carry 2 cell phones, a wallet, extra cash, passport (sometimes), extra tissue paper (for those special emergencies away from home), 8 million VIP cards, etc etc.
The murse stays in China....I never take it back home, and like Ted, if you take a photo of me with it you better hope you got the extended warranty on your soon-to-die camera

I think its pretty cool that its totally acceptable to carry purses here. I too carry far too much stuff in my pockets, its kinda sad how something slightly different like this gets ridiculed back home
Because in China if you *don't* carry a man-bag it means you're gay 
I bought the smallest size I could find, should have bought a little bigger. I can't get a brick in it and what is in there is a tight fit.
Too small for my hands to get my hand in too.
Whats the sense in carrying a purse if I can't hit anyone with it?
Who needs a purse sure all the men here put man cream, woman cream but we real men don't.
A wallet for one pocket a phone for the other and keys in the back pocket.
No need to carry dead weight with you.

I have one door key, yet 5 keyes for my scooter and a remote alarm-too much. I need extra batteries for my phone as it eats them if I use translator or show pics. Camera, mp3, passport, wallet, tissue, cigs, lighter, my cell phone is large, and other stuff.

never carried a bag with me i don't have to many things to carry jus a cell phone and cash thats all
Alot of people have Alot of crap they need with them all the time...
Most people back home have a car with papers, phones, sunglasses ect
Since most of the man purse guys tale a bus or taxi how else to carry it..
When ever I have orders I have to also carry one to keep invoices and other important papers With me. I wish it was still 1950 and I could carry a bog leather brief case but the man bag is more subtle.
When I went back to US, my first day back I was carrying one because I had some business to take care of and when I was walking down the street a black guy yelled Hey buddy nice purse... First day back after 6 months of stress with factories and idiots getting in my way in china this guy was great chance to use him as my punching bag n get all my stress out.
Anyways knocked that clown on his ass and the next day threw away the bag.. But as soon as I came back I went and bought a new one
