Q: Why do most of chinese people I met suffer from bruxism?
Why do most of Chinese people I met suffer from bruxism? recently I noticed most of my Chinese friends suffer from bruxism , is it because they work hard for more than 10 hours a day or is it the way Chinese people eat?? I really want to help them out.

Considering that the signs of bruxism are more commonly evidenced during nocturnal as opposed to diurnal hours, and considering that many dentists believe that stress is the underlying cause of bruxism, I wonder what makes you think that this condition is so prevalent in the Chinese?
So you are saying you have slept with (or in hearshot) of most of the Chinese you have met?

It certainly isn't because they work hard, they don't.

btw, related to this question, my small son (2,5 yo) got this problem, since he was very sick about 2 month ago. since that time, almost every night he grit his teeth sometimes very hardly. can anyone help us out of it ? btw, he appetit have been almost lost, do not want eat so much ( as i always say, his is mix blood, so can not eat only chinese food). anyway, need help

These seem to be two different problems you are encountering.
One of my friends back home, his son also grits his teeth at night, so he has to use some kind of retainer or mouthguard when he sleeps to protect his teeth. He is also much older than your son, so I would recommend consulting a dentist.
As to eating, well, that again one needs to check if it is simply that he does not like certain foods or if it may be some medical reason for his lack of appetite.
Growing up, therer were Puertorrican dishes I could not stand (some of them I still cannot stand!) which I refused to eat (and still do now). There were also German dishes I hated (my paternal grandmother was Prussian) which mom cooked for my dad (I especially LOATHE cabbage in all shapes, styles and forms).
Being part of two or more cultures, there will be things cultural and gastronomic (food related) that he will embrace and reject.

Thanks Raf. I think that he do not like some ingredience in the food cooked by my wife. As i think is the say souce or some like this, because i also do not like it. But she use it for almost every dish. also the ginger and pork meat, as i do not like a lot to eat. last holidays, i stay with my son alone for 5 days. I cooked only my own way, like pasta, grilled fish with spinach, just simple food, not oily, not additional seasoning, except salt, sometimes catchup or mustard, which he like to eat even directly from bottle. but i allow him just 1or 2 licks :-) And i know he ate much more than ussualy. but I am the one who make money and no have time to stay home and cook. Tried to talk to my wife many time, stop using that things in cooking, but she mainly refuse because without it, " it have no taste"
Nor think to cook western way is very difficult. I know need time, but ... For the teeth and checking with doctor, I really refuse go to hospital, since always u have to admit to the desk clerk exactly whats wrong with you and they send to "specialist" who just let u say "AAAA" and write in computer some smelly bitter medicine for him. after asking them to do more check for some specifics, they just refused me as i am not a doctor, wtf i want teachthem what to do ? And going to "western clinic" where have to pay 1k at least only for consultation, is also not the way i want go and can easily afford. Ach jooo :-(
