I can't understand why alot of drivers, blue trikes etc have to drive with the white line in the middle of their vehicle, like a pilot landing or taking off. I have driven my car on the highway and semi-trailer drivers do this a lot!! It scares the crap out of me! Maybe they just do it in my neck of the woods?

They like to be in the middle of the road. Pedestrians does this too.
That's because things like lines on the road or road signs are just suggestions. Plus if they stayed off the white lines, how else are they supposed to be able to get four wide in a two lane?
I was walking with a friend once. I asked her why she liked to walk on the road rather than the sidewalk. She went on to say something about she liked the color and I don't even... Needless to say, why are you asking about logic here? Have you seen people drive? They just go wherever they want. The only traffic law they follow is stopping at a red light. At least they do that, or it would be total chaos.

you mean they eventually stop at a red light. usually about 5 or 6 cars speed up and run the light before anybody stops.
because a line telling them where they can or cant drive is a lose of face. same with traffic lights, and people crossing the street.
If for normal street, sometimes my car got to white line is because of negligent, it won't last long time, I would correct it as soon as i noticed.
but on the highway, when i drive too close with barries, sometimes it gives me dizzy, so I will drive my car more to the white line side, but of course i will make sure the other way dont have car on it for quite long way...as soon as my rearview mirror tell me a car showup, i will drive on my way in the middle...
Not a big deal, i didnt see many cars do this, do they?
