Q: Why do people use cellphones during a movie here?

Because, they don't like the movie, and they're calling director for change of the script. I think!
The answer to big question #1 of the day: This must really bother you to post this question, Try and ignore it, buddy. Technology has changed the way people live. They can constantly be in touch with others, have conversations with people not with them. It's just the way life is evolving. i know women that have 2 phones. They text constantly, even while walking across the street. I knew one woman that left her phone on so her husband could listen.
Because they are selfish and inconsiderate just like a lot of other Chinese. I've read on this forum so many times about Chinese talking loudly during movies at the cinema. :(
Because the government won't allow me to sink an axe into their head's!

Because, the fact that you or me or anyone else is inconvenienced by their loud conversation does not matter to them. It does not even occur to them.
