Q: Why do some posters continue to post inane questions and answers, even when ridiculed for doing so?
Ridiculed like constantly voted down and abused verbally, Yet they stay and continue to do it.
Is it a form of masochism, or self-destruction? Obviously, they must suffer some form of psychosis.
What drives them to do it?
they probably just want to get people's attention or simply do it for fun.
Normally,For Inane questions,all I do is,Just Ignore it.
Practicing their English.
Trying to gain points.
Love the 'sound' of their own voice.

Huge, have you ever noticed a certainly frequent regularity to the amount of times we make posts within minutes of each other? I think we have a psychic connection. What number am I thinking of? This is not a psychic trick i'm playing, i'm just thinking out loud, I honestly don't know.
Boredom, a rebellious streak, some people just get a kick out of pushing people's buttons. God knows i've pushed my share. When I first came to this site I found a lot of the questions mundane and started asking daft ones myself, but then that gets boring too. My guess is (we're talking about 99 here of course) he's a Chinese guy practising his English. Crazy English. Doesn't bother me.

I think their meds keep them from responding to any comments. With the right meds nothing matters. It also makes the shallowest of questions seem important, like why do flies land on only me?
It's just like anything else if people have negative things to say do you listen to them? Yeah, and that's probably why you are so weak. . . . GEez I hope people like you and they type of person you are gets forced into the military one day so you can learn about discipline.
And all the things about verbally and physically abusing just goes and shows your education level.....
You should ask why aren't the folks that do the verbal abusing etc., learn to ignore if they don't like something or simply move along. It's like your in a constant battle trying to abuse someone who you can't.....lol!

Personally I like the back stories they create for themselves and how they change. I think the most recent development is military related.
people are to lazy to do a word search before they ask stupid questions, asking a unique question is an art most people could care less to learn, but some questions do need to be brought up again when things constantly change quickly in china.
