I never hate the skin a persons in, although I do occasionally hate what's in the skin.

Although in general, I avoid hate, it is an incredibly strong emotion and one I don't really think I've experienced more that once or twice in my entire life.

I think if you are not educated with the fact that skin colour does not matter, then ignorance makes a person intolerant. Also exposure helps. Often people do not like what is different even just on religion, tribe, or nationality. I'm guilty of not liking people in general from certain countries because I don't like their opinion or attitudes. As far as skin colour goes, I don't care, I like asians if they are darker,black people look good to me in regards to skin colour. Some black people are very dark, I think they look very beautiful.

I must say that I was remarkably impressed by the posts on this thread;  the answers are quite good, written with compunction.  The OP posted a rather pointed but honest question and the posters so far have responded really well. Kudos to all of the above.  The points up came from me.

  It's not only unreasonable, it is an example of how simple the entire subject of racism really is: as simple as 'black and white.' There's probably another world in a galaxy not so very far far away, where the whole situation is reversed and it's the whites getting the shaft. The OPs reasoning is wrong - insisting that everyone hates blacks 'simply because of skin colour'.

No, there are lots of other reasons to be against blacks and skin-colour is just one of them!

But seriously, Africans don't help themselves by having a continent full of warlords and hustlers. They don't help themselves by forming rape gangs or making theft and thuggery their main career goals.

 Unless you have polled everyone in the world, I believe your remark has no foundation and you are feeding off your personal experiences or just the general concept the world hates black coloured people. Saying that it can also be said about Germans, Americans, Irish, British, Greeks, Italians, Russians, lesbians and gays and the list goes on and on.  Personally I see a person not the colour of the skin. I except people for who they are and what they are. I do not look for perfection in others as I tend not to find it in myself. My belief is we should except someone for who they are and not what we want they to be. I have no problem or issues with regards to black people.   I'm positive we all have people who do not like us for some reason or other. Nothing to loose sleep over. With regards to stan118 comment, I totally agree, The UK is full of hatred and bigots, many dislike anyone who is not a white British national. In China they even dislike the next door neighbour so what chance has a foreigner have, even you live here 20 years your still a foreigner an outsider. Lighten up and take nothing personal, 

Could have something to do with the stereotype of the "uncivilized savage" that gets propagated everywhere. It's in movies all the time. Remember in Independence Day? At the end it shows the alien ships being destroyed in several different places. Everyone else is modern except for Africa where it shows a bunch of dudes with spears and loin clothes. 

Also, it doesn't help that most of the poorest countries are in Africa. I wouldn't say that everyone hates black people but it wouldn't be a stretch to say that many in the world look down on them. Sad but true. 

I'm assuming you have black skin pigment, having read a few of your other posts? Obviously what you are saying is a bit insulting to non-blacks to say the least but also very very far from reality, on this planet.

While I am not saying racism doesn't exist, it is because of a select group of narrow minded people that causes this big worldwide tension.

I feel that black and white people when they meet each other there is often a prejudice shield both people put up. The black person puts up a shield of caution that the other guy may not like them, while the other is thinking oh I'm white he must hate me. And there you have 2  people, without even saying a word (or being extremely careful about any word they do say) that think they don't like each other. Potential best friends destroyed.

 I hate no one, sometimes i meet black guys on the streets here (there're African students in the college where I work), I would say hello to them. Some of them would say hello back to me, some of them would turn away. Do they hate me too? If they do, it's their issue, I have done nothing to offend them.  I try to be nice to everyone.

      In human matters, colour is only decoration of skin....People are INSIDE.

Sorry, but I am SO tired of hearing this cliche, boring and outdated complaint.  "The world hates me because I am Black. So, since they make it impossible for me to succeed, I won't even try."

We have a Black President.  That should go just the tiniest bit towards proving how wrong that statement is.

People may have preconceived notions about what a Black person is like, or how they will act.  But most of those preconceptions can be put to rest (or confirmed) the moment you open your mouth.

If you come across like a uneducated, crack slinging wannabe gangsta, then yes, you will have problems getting ahead in the world.  And I have met many White/Asian/Hispanic/Whatever people that act in the same moronic way and they get looked down on like any other person, regardless of their skin color, that has a huge chip on their shoulder.

If you want to get ahead in the world, you will just have to get over your own preconceived notions of your limitations and ignore all the stupid people that can't see past your skin color.

I may not be Black, but my family was (and with exception of me) still are below poverty level type poor.  I didn't have good grades in school and I never went to college.  I do not consider myself a smart person by any stretch of the imagination.

The only thing I knew was that I did not want to be poor.  So at 18 I joined the military, served for 4 years and built a life for myself from there.  The only rule I ever had was that every career step I took had to be a step up.

Making excuses for yourself won't get you ahead in life.  Being determined to make your life better and being willing to face tons of rejection to do that, is what gets you ahead in your life.
