I just don't get it... it's hot in Beijing to keep windows closed but every morning that scream makes me wake up earlier then i need to. is it because i live near the park or they're shouting like crazies everywhere around?
what you are hearing is either local looking for business: sharpeing knives etc. Or as there are a lot of early risers at this time of year, people practicing their Beijing Opera singing in the park: to foreigners, this does not sound the most musical!
TedDBayer:
Original Sparkey on duty, he left you a thumbs down, he's like a twisted fairy.
He's leaving ''cookies'' on the sidewalk again ! (pooted)
Oh Sorry it's because I pinched their behinds on my way to the subway station...
It's people yelling at their rooster for not waking them up or for waking them up too early.
They found the ''presents'' that Sparkey left on the night before.
the beauty of traditional Chinese culture
TsuRen:
such a strange beauty. makes me wanna kill somebody. makes me wanna kill myself even. deadly perfection...?
In Guilin I was told that old people shout or yell in the morning to exercise their lungs.
Believe it or not, that is up to you.
TsuRen:
oh, don't think they are old. even young ones shouting. sometimes i think that they are just deaf -___-
Might be Muslim mosques starting prayers through high-volume speakers.
TsuRen:
muslims usually doing such things near 5 am. i heard them too
To wake up the rest of the neighborhood and force them to listen to what they're saying - obviously.
TsuRen:
don't really think that they are trying to say something. more like to annoy people for some reason. they are far too strange for me.
