Q: Why doesn't this site have a regular chat-room?

I've recently had a baby, which was particularly painful as I am a man, and i've found myself more and more housebound, so it's nice to find sites like this (first time i've used it in the 7 years i've been 'in country') where I can exchange ideas, witicisms and insults with complete strangers, but wouldn't a regular chat-room fit in to this site like a woolen glove on a duck's head (old Chinese proverb, kind of loses something in the translation)? The only chat-room I know is for members of alcoholics anonymous and those dudes are borrrring!

because we will argue every time someone say something....we never get along and we never agree on anything or respect each other's opinion.....whether you like my answer or not or comment in a negative way about it but deep down everyone knows that this is the fact

So what you're saying is that everyone disagrees all the time. Hmmm. I completely disagree!

I think a chat room would be fun, until the idiots popped in and start their crap. So we'd want a chatroom with a mute feature, or one where we could vote to kick someone out. But that could get ugly.

I still think it would be fun to chat with some in real time.

Or maybe a private messaging feature in which we could invitemultiple users who we want to invite, and then can avoid the idiots.

I like that idea better (private Chat room) Like messenger
