Q: why is every question on eChina answers now worth
,,,,5 points,,That will just encourage more stupid questions.
My guess is it's to also try and encourage good ones!
Thing is, the good ones will come anyway, while the bad ones will just be encouraged...
The first thing I thought of when I saw this comment: Oh no...and we thought the questions were bad before. I can't imagine how bad they could be now.

My first reaction, when I read the posted notice, was exactly the same, "oh no, more stupid questions". But then I realized it was just the way to encourage more questions each day for us to have fun with, and realized in my mind that most probably the CAT is well aware of the potential danger, and I am sure he will be on the look out for any provbable abuse.
So, let's give it a chance to see if the carrot works. If abused, we can always make noise about it too !.
And once more, there is a way for all of us to help moderate this website too, just ignore stupid questions and place no replies on those.

I would think that this question could fall into that category. I really could care less about whether people post stupid questions stupid people will always post stupid question just do not answer them. When I look at the questions that need answers it is always empty so stop complaining. People who post answers to stupid question are the worst.

It's empty because cat with a tie occasionally deletes the queue of old questions. I remember once, there were about six pages worth of unanswered questions.

You could care less? That means that you are a little bit. The correct form is "I couldn't care less." This version means that you care so little or not at all thus making it impossible to care less.
