In the states I can get a polo shirt for 4 dollars, a toy model car for 5 dollars. Here at the silk market they charge over 50 dollars for the shirt and the lady wanted 100 dollars for the toy model car that I got for 5 dollars in the states.
Not to mention watch out for employers at the silk market wanting to swipe your card twice. They will lie to you and say something was wrong with the machine and rip you off.
I bought a pair of pants at the silk market it lasted less than a week. There was a huge hole in the bottom. I don't go there anymore! It's too expensive!

As far as its capital of the country and economic condition depends on here thats why its comparatively expensive
Because noone in their right mind agrees to anything close to the first asking price.
Because you probably have a foreign face that doesn't score well for being offered the lowest or realistic price. It happens to all of us. You have to haggle then just walk away if you are not satisfied.
If you will go to Gold market and if you will ask why everything is costly, then what will be the answer?
