ESp, restaurants, subway stations, buses, public places and so on................... people dont talk to each other, instead they scream the shit our of them. why is so????
The frequency of sound decimals in China is different to the Western hemisphere due to its proximity to the magnetic poles; our foreign ears are not accustomed to this change in frequency and therefore it sounds louder to us than to them. Hahaha...only joking!
I would say the same mysterious phenomenon behind the public's acceptance of public peeing, spitting everywhere and not queueing up is behind this one too...
That and people being right next to you and staring is the kind of abrasive behavior that takes time getting used to (or just not getting used to at all).
While one would be tempted to say it's education, it just seems like the sheer population density, combined with crowded environments and the cultural habit of not interfering with others all fuse and spiral into an intolerable and obscene mix.
If someone's screaming in the phone right beside me, I'm not afraid to look them in the eye and make a sign.
The answer is so simple. It is because everyone is hard of hearing.
Do you not know that when calling on your mobile phone, the further away you are calling, the louder you must speak into the phone?
What's the matter with you? Most Chinese know this FACT!
