There seems too be a few around at the moment, feeding their babies (SME) ITS CALLED SMA no baby milk in the U.K. called SME,you dont refer too your own child as a bonny bugger, its always my son daughetr,or baby so just go away and let us,use this site for real info whicjh is useful too the foreiginers that use it .
So you have perfect recall do you?
Yes I called it SME sorry slip of the finger but we haven't used it for about a year now as my daughter is nearly 2 years old.. Now, you don't want to believe I am English YOUR PROBLEM not mine, I'm staying so why don't YOU bugger off!
paulmartin:
You havent used it for nearly a year as your child is nearly 2,,Doesnt make sense, any parent knows you start powder milk between3-6 months till your child is 2 or 3 depending on your own choice
Hugh.G.Rection:
Then your obviously not a parent, or at least not a very good one. We started our daughter on mixed foods at 6 months and on solids at 1 year, she stopped drinking formula milk at 18 months and now only drinks cows milk. Imported from Australia.
Now I really don't care what you think, but you don't own this site, and neither does anyone else. I am English believe it or not, however anyone is allowed to post here, it is not exclusively for expats. If you want such a site build your own and make your racist comments 'no Chinese allowed' on there.
littlemick:
In one of the threads you said you lived in uk, for 7 or 9 years, i forget exactly how many
Living there for a while does not make you british
Just saying thats all
Hugh.G.Rection:
Then go and look at it again you buffoon! I said WE lived in the UK for 7 years before coming to China, i.e. after getting married WE went to England and lived there for 7 years before WE came back to China.
I was born in Cannock Staffordshire, in 1962 in a hospital that no longer exists that was then called The Ivy House, it was in Wolverhampton Road (which still exists) and is about 1km due south from the town centre.
Now then detective go and do some searches on that info as you are getting quite stupid now.
littlemick:
Well if you had explained that you came to china, met your wife, went to england to live then came back to china i would not have commented
And its the first time i have commented
And just for the record, i aint a buffoon !!!!!!!!!
Hugh.G.Rection:
If you don't want to be called a buffoon perhaps it may do you well not to act like one. I don't post everything about me in any post, I limit what I post to what I think is needed for that particular reply.
Xpat.John:
1962? Woohoo! Someone older than me on this board. :) Granted, only by a year, but I will take what I can get.
And for what it is worth, even I have been called a wumao on this site. The idiotic witch burning that goes on around here just isn't worth letting get to you. It makes me just want to pat them on the head and say, "Yes, I am a wumao. Very nice. Now run along to mommy."
Hugh.G.Rection:
Thanks, yes I know and I do try and not feed the trolls (aka CoC aka Crimochina), but sometimes it's difficult. I sometimes wonder it 'they' aren't all actually one 20 year old post grad student with lots of zits and no life!
robinhood:
I get the impression that British people are not welcome here, perhaps I ought to look elsewhere for support.
"Why fake British at the moment"
Maybe there's some spin since the Olympics are being held there, and the wumao's don't want to be outdone by the Brits. Start's tonight, right?
I haven't bothered to read the fighting here over the past few weeks, it's tedious as hell. Are the wumaos really pretending they're British now?
But I'll go with it ... lots of comments over the last year have been from Americans saying "we recognize people who are not Americans you idiots!" Perhaps they think English thinking and backgrounds are thought to be less recognisable to forum members? I know the logic is crap, but logic is not China's strong point IMO.
I must say though, I know this is an expat site, but there's no reason the Chinese can't come and play, and give opinions as their Chinese selves. Some of the comments, from Chinese posters like Icerock and Bonita for example, are a genuine insight into Chinese thinking on some sticky issues.
philbravery:
I will second that
It is good to have a local input and also there is no better people than a local to explain some things to us
I can't understand anything in this thread. Not a thing. I understand each word, but as a whole it just gives me a headache.
my thinking is the dude behind matty and julio thought there were no brits here to pick apart their lang. also it seems if he would make up a back story like we know each other, and both are new fathers then that would cover for the timing. but chinese thinking can't be disguised.
it is sad and pathetic. a country of this size being so damn petty
GuilinRaf:
Maybe next time, they can choose a place like Pitcairn Island? Dont think many of those guys are in China, but then again, I could very well be wrong...
If nothing else I learned Hugh G Rection is as old as my dad....bozhe moi.
crimochina:
they do tend to teach old slang terms in china as current.
philbravery:
you remember hit the nail in the coffin? from Matty
as for the English invasion everything else is made in China so why not personaliys?
