Q: Why foreigners aren't as good as they show outside?

In outside, I think foreigners is nice and polite。Here they are not.

'You hurt my feelings' said the poster who was asking if American women will prostitute themselves because he has a personality that doesn't attract them.

http://answers.echinacities.com/question/can-i-buy-america-girls-love

Have you got 'hurt feelings' like a 5 year old because posters thought your 'questions' were immature and offensive?

There have been times when Chinese men have made the most disgusting and offensive comments about me and foreign women in front of me (in Chinese) in the belief that i can not understand. So non-Chinese don't have the concession on being offensive.

Chinese friends have told me that Chinese netziens are way more derogatory on other websites about foreigners than we are here on ECC about Chinese people (there are rare exceptions but they get harmonised).

At least engage with posters to show you have an opinion you can justify, and not just a one line whine like a child.

In real life most people are polite.

On Internet forums people can hide behind false names and then get nasty. It's not just here. Lots of forums can be like this.

Do you use any Chinese forums? What are people like on them?

ok... I'm  reading 'outside' and 'here' as physical - in other countries, vs in China...

As Confucius said, "When in Rome..."

Mateusz:

The full quote is:

"When in Rome, broaden your horizons, because on one hand, every coin is fine. Thank you. And you?"

Would you be offended if a man asked if your mother would be willing to provide sexual services for money? I think so. I imagine the American posters on this forum did not take to kindly to all women in their country being refered to in such a way either.

I think you could add 'all women' and not just American woman.

@Sorrell just refering to the OPs original question. @Scots the Chinese constitution guarantees women's equality. You should check it out, it is great piece of fiction.
