Q: why isnt there any child freindly parks in China?

  • When we come to China I find it hard to find places out side of the western resturants and airport
  • for the kids to play
  • all the park things are for exersize for the older people
  • so besides going to Maccas everyday
  • where can I take them to swing and slide?
  • so what do you do to keep the kids entertained?

I don't think they worry as much about entertaining children. Many parks have things for children to play on, although they might have to be 8 or older to play on them. Parks are mainly for older people, it is also free for them to ride the bus, so that is one of the places they can go for free. I have never seen a playground at a restaurant. Once children start going to school they should study, not play, so if they do play, it is usually outside at home. That doesn't cost anything.

The old people in the park are the children's playground.  A Chinese kid's best friend is his/her grandparents.

They'd rather play in the street.

There is a park in Saertu, a district of Daqing and actually it was the original Daqing, callled the Children's Park. It caters for the kids and adults alike. Unfortunately they discovered oil there (the place is swimming in oil) so we have 4 big oil pumps at the entrance but they look like big yellow toys.....I guess??!! Gives the place that mixture of the innocence of youth and technological necessity. Nothing should stand in the way of making a dollar right?!

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
