Q: why so?

there are many chinese goods which i can buy cheaper in my country than in china.. Usually such goods are higher in quality than they are here , stil they are sold cheap ..

I don't think the quality is higher, I think for many high-end products it's essentially the same quality.

As for the reason why it's more expensive here, I think it's twofold:

- on the one hand, even though this is China, these are imported products.
- China tries to encourage local consumption and companies. I wouldn't be surprised if extra taxes or tariffs were imposed to promote the homemade products.

The importers alway get much better price because of large quantity.
And as you know, the price level and production cost goes up a lot.
