If I can learn to speak Chinese, I want to do the voice overs,,,awwww 就闭嘴
Road Runner might be popular, but not Bugs bunny. I dont think the society would be comfortable with his cross dressing and kissing men in the mouth yet (Danger to The Morals of National Youth....). Maybe in another generation of two?
They may not be big, but other Looney Tunes stuff like Tom & Jerry and Foghorn Leghorn are huge here.
I don't see Bugs as making it huge in the normal sense around here.... but he could make it Nightmare Before Christmas huge.... as far as a character that they want to buy and place on everything, but very few actually have seen where he comes from.
and Daffy? How can they not embrace Daffy.. HO HOHO You're dethpicable
Daffy Duck quote;I'm not afraid of ghosts. In fact, I'm not afraid of anything. Except perhaps low quarterly profit projections and personal intimacy.
GuilinRaf:
Actually, the early Daffy Duck was GREAT! He was truly insane and was more goofy. Today's daffy is a cynical caricature of the original, er, caricature! Is it just me or do most anthropomorphic waterfowl have speech impediments?
DaBen:
Well pre 90's waterfowl had their speech problems.... but I'm sure that had something to do with having no lips.
GuilinRaf:
Makes sense. I have also wondered, why didn't the Beegees ever hire Donald Duck? He would have fit in perfectly!
