I'm psyched about the new movie Elysium from District 9 Director Neil Blomkamp. Again, he tackles current issues like the growing wealth disparity and poverty in the world, except that his film is set in the future. Reading the plot really makes me think of China so I wonder if it made it past the sensors and whether it will get screened in cinemas here. Yeah I doubt it too...

There are some movies about that but obviously you can't watch them in cinemas.According to the info I've got the movie above is related to that, but I bet it would be forbidden in Mainland.Tragedic truth

And"Elysium" from abroad....Do not ever think about it...Big brother is watching you
Not gonna watch it ...District 9 was amazing....and this comes from the Hollywood shit movie machine... this director is finished for me...A new sci fi worth attention is 'Europa Report' - the real deal!
IrvineWelsh:
Europa Report seem like a good one. Shades of Arthur C. Clark...

Yes...Check out the 'Black Mirror' TV series also...if you haven't ....mind-blowing!
Yeah they will but like other movies such as Iron man, superman etc., I don't believe the people that made that movie will get their fare share of the profits gained...
