Q: Will PRC ever say no to ebikes on sidewalks?
As many of you have seen, in most cities it is an extremely dangerous game of 'Duck, Dodge, Dive, and Dodge' to walk the sidewalks of Mainland. Crazy how these broken, narrow sidewalks swarmed with the teeming masses of Our Less than Cognizant Friends all at a moment away from suffering life-changing injuries due to these aggressive ebikes rocketing in, out and between them. Anyone care to guesstimate how many pedestrians are crippled each day from having a tibia snapped, ankle crushed, due to being ran down by an ebike?

Its the food chain for sure.
On the road, your size defines your status.
Same on the pavement.
But the pavement is a different battle ground in this selfish country. Its a place where adults who should know better consider a 2 year old toddler as being on the same level as an empty crisp packet.
The urge to grab and pull is too often too strong.
But what winds me up more are bus stops. The bus stops, people pile off, beep beep beep, the ebikes barge through. It should be simple. A bus stops, the doors open, and people get off. It's an easy thing to anticipate.
When I ride my ebike... bus stop ahead.. bus stopping.. slow down... doors open... stop... give way. There might be mums with kids, farmers with baskets of bannanas, old people, school kids, tired shopworkers who just want to get home after a two hour commute.
I stop. Give way. Maybe use the time to light up a smoke.
When I ride my ebike I only stand my ground against bigger. Never against smaller.
And yes, I do ride my ebike on the pavement.
But I do it with western charactaristics.

You got it all wrong, they 'dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge'.
Fullstop banned in GZ as from today. So they say.
But also banned from going through red lights. So what is it? Banned from the city, banned from the road, or banned from going through red lights?
No mention of pavements
