Q: Will Smoking in China ever let up?

I was wondering a lot about this. Im not sure if its a thing all across the country but i notice that older hard types love to smoke ( not limited to any geographical area) and people in the south in general do too. Is smoking popular here?  Why is smoking popular here and will there be any initiatives aimed at lessening its appeal to younger age groups? You'd imagine there will be.  Anyway the business half of in me is curious cause something will need to fill that void.

Fill the void? This looks more and more like healthy 'void':

Predictions are that Scandinavia will be smoke free in not many years. China is at least 50-100 years behind in normal development, so yeah, it will be, just wait 100+ years.

Smoking, it's doing what to my Qi, my Yin and Yang level ? No why. I like smoking, therefore I smoke when I want to, the idea of consequences does not even cross my mind. If it crosses my mind briefly, then I just suppress it, as it will be on the way to my fulfillment.

Smoking, not gonna change very much, no.

An old Chinese guy once bragged to me that tea came from China, while we were drinking tea together, and that he likes to drink tea to stay healthy. It was then that I warned him about the cigarette he was smoking.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
