Q: The women we find beautiful, they find ugly?
Anyone notice there's a pretty huge difference in the perception of 'Asian beauty' between foreigners and Chinese?
SO many times I've had Chinese tell me so and so Chinese actress or star I found sexy as hell they found revolting, and vice versa.
Have you see the U-tube & other pctures of a very plain Chinese girl that puts on makeup and becomes a real cute doll?? I guess makeup helps...
what we normally find to be an attractive face is really a common face,,,if you take about 10 pictures of people and super impose the pictures over each other and keep the common intersecting points,, you will have what we find to be an attractive face,,,, so what we find to be attractve is really just a plain normal common face.,,,,,,unlike yours 
U find beautiful is not really ugly in our eyes, but surely not as beautiful as she is in ur eyes.
beauty is in the eyes of the beholder ,,, wise words,,, any woman I've been in love with has been the most beautiful woman in the world to me,,, until that night when i wake up see her sitting there mascara running, face turn green, head spinning around and around, while speaking in tongues and projectile vomitting green slime,,, then it's hosta la vista baby ,,,wonder what gets into them ?
Standards of beauty are different.
The Chinese ideal female features are pale white skin, a slightly long "seed shaped" face (pointy at the chin), big dark eyes, tiny nose, small pouty mouth, and silken black hair.
So, the ideal woman in China is one of those grey aliens wearing a black wig.
I don't find this attractive, but whatever floats your boat...
It is funny how ruthless Chinese boys get when you try for one of "their types"
All Chinese women are beautiful, just some more than others...

This is from my perspective, a non Chinese. I see a pattern when I look at couples around sanlitun. The women I found pretty usually walks hand in hand with Chinese men. While the plain, sometimes with tons of make up, but dresses borderline skanky, usually walks with foreign men.
from my experiences and what i've seen , yes i agree with Diaphane.
One of the statements I keep reading in these posts is that the Chinese women that date Westerners are unattractive, skanky, ugly. So if this really is the case,, why are the natives throwing rocks. The 'ugly' woman deserves the love and appreciation that everybody should be entitled and happy to get. There are other things that bind people together, attraction is what makes another person beautiful.. Good looks are a transitory state, so there had better be something else of interest. Maybe the Westerners make the smart choice. The Chinese can have the pretty, shallow B******.. There is an old rock and roll song
'If you wanna be happy
For the rest of your life,
Never make a pretty woman your wife,
So from my personal point of view,
Get an ugly girl to marry you.
