It depends on your skills and mother language. There are quite a lot of opportunities out there for freelance translators, writers, copy editors etc. Often, companies need machinery or medicine handbooks translated into various languages, not just English. Most of these jobs are freelance so you can work from home. I don't have any experience with data entry jobs but I presume that it's best to look for those jobs on overseas job sites. You would then have to work on "overseas" time.

Here are a few legit wok from home sites , gzraj.

Staff.com https://www.staff.com - this site offers FULL TIME/part time jobs to everyone who is interested in having a steady income at home. Simply post your detailed resume with a short intro of yourself and expect for a job interview if you're resume fits to the job position.

Fiverr http://www.fiverr.com - if you have talents/services/skills that are exceptional, you can post them here. Every service/gig starts at $5 but you can always increment them if you are willing to offer more.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
