Q: Work permit validity length

I noticed that my "B" work permit card does not have an expiration date on it, just an issuance date. Does anyone know yet how long they are good for?  When I switch jobs, will I need to get a new one done?

Have you scanned the QR code using wechat? It'll give all your details.

A friend of mine got the B card, he asked "what if you wanna change jobs, do we have to go through the whole system again?"

No A & B numbers# will only have to apply for a change of company status by transferring your card number# to the new company. But you still gotta turn in the card and apply for a new one, which seems like a waste of plastic.

C cards unkown about the requirements for changing jobs.
