Would China be this far infront economicly ?
How would the world treat China diffrently?
I would also like to know is there any ties to the last dynasty still alive ?
This is not intended as a flame
From the cultural/economical reset started during the revolution, to all decisions made as it began to become a world player. So the only answer you can get would just be made up guesses. You might as well ask how China would be right now if the allies lost WWII.
China does have a royal family, it is call The party
Wasn't the last dynasty slaughtered?
I am sure the Chinese people are quite happy the Japanese still have an emporer....another reason to keep on hatin'.

I know the last emporer died in about 1968 he was the gardener at the botanic gardens in Beijing, but I thought he had a younger brother? I have googled the hell out of it. just was intresed in the history
This is the 21st century and I fail to see what value monarchy has in any nation in the 21st century. Privilege through birthright is a highly outdated conception. Monarchy is pure feodalism. In the end, however, it is the common folk that pay for all of the trappings and pomp of the monarchy. Just look at Britain. That royal family is more dysfunctional than the majority of English families.
As for the last Qing dynasty, no, the poster above is wrong. Pu Yi and his brother were not executed. Pu Yi spent years in prison, particularly for all of the atrocities involved with Unit 731 in Manchuria and for all of the suferings that he inflicted upon the people of Manchuria during his Japanese-organized "reign". He died in about 1968, I think, in Beijing, having lived out his life as a quiet gardener. His brother was the same.
His wife, however, who had a become a heroin addict of the worst kind, suffered a worse fate upon capture as she was beyond rehabilitating. She and that Japanese princess with whom she had a lesbian affair were both dealt with severely.
As for the Japanese emperor, it more astounds me that the Americans, and in particular General McArthur, never put him on trial as a war criminal, which indeed, he was. He fanned the flames of war as much as he could and his wife the Empress and her family were even more involved in the flames of war than he was.
