Q: Would he or she be granted a dependent resident permit?

Now we have all been talking about Katy87 situation the last few hours. And brought an interesting question to my mind.

We all know gay marriage is allowed in America now. You can legally marry the same sex and get a legal marriage certificate. Now let's say that a company hires one of them legally in China, will the Chinese government give their gay partner a dependent visa?

Everything and every document has been legally put in front of the PSB officer, how could they say no?

It's up to the PSB.

BTW what would happen if a family from a country where polygamy is legal goes to the US? Will all of the wives get a residence permit to accompany their husband?

ironman510:

I researched it, no it wouldn't be allowed at all in the U.S, only one partner could come along to the U.S.
