Q: Would it really be a big deal if China ended 2nd in the Olympics?

Seems it's all people talk about. US and China going head to head and being almost tied. Would it really be a big deal here if they ended second?

I think it will be a problem to many Chinese, but not to anyone else, apart perhaps from Americans. To be honest I wasn't expecting China to be No1 this time round as they don't have home field advantage and they aren't as strong in athletics as the USA.

I would quite like to see China come second simply because I am fed up with hearing the Chinese national anthem being played and it would shut up a lot of people, including my wife; all I hear is how wonderful China is.
