US now has a policy to launch "border-less " strikes against terrorists. although they have killed some top ranking terrorists through this program i am firmly against it . angering and creating 1000 more enemies to kill 10 enemies is not good math and it seriously crosses the line. this really scares the "poop" out of me i'm watching my country be a bully with no boundaries
Personally i don't think USA would. Financially they cant afford another war, and the USA (even us here) are not aware what China has (military). Everyone will say USA has the best weaponry as they show the world, China doesn't.
I think if America even thought of doing that then we may have to go somewhere very far away!
China might have good weapons for all we know but, do they have the guts? Look what happened in WW2 with Japan...
These are very calculated strikes.
Yeman and Pakistan are both quasi allies, even if the populations of these countries hate America.
Places where they strike that are not "friends", are generally weak countries without retaliatory means.
I would rather they take out a terrorist by drone then invade a country.
I am not even American and I do NOT see these strikes as being a bully, but rather protecting themselves. Think Bush was better?
And no....your question will NEVER happen.
I don't think they would either. If there were high ranking terrorists in China I would also think that it would be in China's interests to take them out anyway because they would also be a threat to their own security. This question would be moot until such time as China produces state sponsored international terrorists and I can't see that happening.
If the US did then there's not a whole lot China could do about it besides pound its chest and complain about its sovereignty being violated. It'd make the government look weak to the people if the US had to act against terrorists in the country because the PLA and police were incapable of dealing with the problem.
China has its hands full with the East Turkestan Liberation Organization and is cracking down on terrorist activity though so I don't think they should worry about US interference. Most of those guys hate China far more than the US anyway.
You're talking about a nation known for making people disappear if they make China look bad. China would want to lose international face for allowing terrorist to stay within their boarders. Plus if there was someone that the US would go after here, China would want to take him out themselves so as to not look weak.
