Q: Would you like to make friends with Chinese people?

Would you like to make friends with more Chinese people and other expats? Or you prefer to stay in your own circle?  I see you guys discuss a lot about China, but no sounds from Chinese. Why not try something new -- FoxTalk app. It is an mobile application for expats and Chinese natives to sharing thoughts and friendship. Let's see how Chinese young people regards you as you are a stranger to them.

sorrel:

they are a couple of very shy guys that are on this forum.

just keep sending them messages, emails and texts.

you need to do this a lot and very often because they have nothing better to do with their time.

good luck and remember to be persistent with them !

No thanks!

I would rather not be inundated with friends requests from countless Chinese people with ulterior motives.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
