Q: Would you trust a fertility test done here in China?

Hi,

I've done a fertility test around 2 weeks ago and the results were not good. I told some of my friends and they told me I shouldn't trust a test done in China, but do one in my home country instead.
What do you think? If a Chinese doctor told you that your chances of giving life were not good, would you trust him, or check it again in your country as well?
I'm pretty scared and desperate, I haven't told my husband (Chinese) yet. I'm afraid that he'll break up with me because of that. A woman unable to give life is useless and worths nothing is this country. What would you do? I'm lost.

EDIT : Thanks sorrel for your answer, but I wanna clarify something... He wouldn't leave me as I know he loves me, but his parents will force him to do so as they are the ones who see as a baby maker. I'm afraid that he'll choose his family over me as they'll tell him that if he stays with me, he won't see his family again. Most of the Chinese would do that choice, family is too important in the Chinese culture, and it's a huge pain in the arse.

maybe there is a problem with your husband, not you.

it is retarded thinking to always blame the woman if she is unable to conceive.

get a pregnancy test kit (or two) sent from your home country

more reliable

sorrel:

i will add, only a total a**-h*** would divorce his wife is she did not conceive.

it would just show what a shallow **** he was.

but on second thoughts, if he does divorce you, you are well rid of such a jerk who clearly only wants you as a baby maker

chances are your husband, being Chinese, has had his fertility damaged by the food and environment he has lived in more than you.

he should get himself checked.

but chances are being Chinese this would be a huge loss of face.

unless this is addressed between you, you are in a no-win situation

In any case, women don't come with a certificate of child bearing guarantee. And all that alcohol and unhealthy food will kill his ability to deliver his part as well. Getting married means two persons seeing things through...in sickness and in health, remember? If this is not the case, then it isn't even worth anything. So much for the vows. He should see it through with you. Gynaegology is so advanced today and there are many ways to conceive. And if he even dares pick a fight with you, dump him! There are many others in the ocean.

No, because a Chinese doctor would likely jack off in the kit and we'd  be forced to raise his little bastards. We have enough trouble with a couple western nutjobs doing that. Imagine when you get to the level of nutjobbery in China... yeah, no thanks.

I can't believe that you even have to ask the question. Don't trust anything in China.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
