Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: Wouldn't it be funny if we used Chinese words and spoke English with their literal meaning?
Here's an example to highlight my point:
你好,我是美国人, 我喜欢玩电脑游戏 (Hello I'm American, I like to play video games/Ni hao, wo shi meiguoren, wo xihuan wan diannao youxi)
Literal translation: You good, I is beautiful country person, I happy welcome play electric brain travel trick"
Now I have some sympathy for whenever I see Chinglish. Feel free to think of some funnier ones!

你是哪里的人?
You is which inside person?
Yes I can see where they make the mistakes.
Each country's English learners will develop their own "interlanguage" which will incorporate elements of the first language (L1) and the target language (TL).
Beginners' interlanguage will incorporate more of the L1, while more advanced learners will be closer to the TL. The change in interlanguage is a gradual process.
In China, we tend to call this interlanguage Chinglish. The interlanguage varies significantly in different countries, based on the structure of the L1.
那很好笑,但我想不起来另一个例子了。不好意思。
