Q: Xian Vs. Nanjing: pros and cons.

Is Xian better than Nanjing, city wise? (quality of life...cost of living... Crowds... Public transport... Non-hostility to Arabs... City development...)
Pros... Cons... Help me out. Trying to find objective (ish) information for a friend to help her decide to stay in nanjing or leave to xian.

Culture and history are not a factor

Never been to Xi'An before, but the comparison probably won't be favorable to it... Well, just know some people who have lived in Nanjing long term that went to Xi'An and absolutely HATED it...    And they really dislike Nanjing too. But Xi'An was apparently pretty awful.

In terms of specifications...  cost of living, ... dunno man.

Woulda said Xi'An's strong point was culture, but now I see you aren't really regarding that as important.
