Depending on if they need any more gigs or not you could drop a note in their suggestion box. Every good company should have a suggestion box. Just put in the suggestion that you think the yangtze cruise ship company could "then describe your gig". Apply to them and hope for the best!

thanks, so far I think Ive only managed to get direct contact info for 2 companies, seems all the rest of the Yangtze operator only available through travel agents for tour bookings.....no direct contact info for the operators...thanks anyway for suggestion !

Yeah, no problem. Another suggestion that you could try is finding their address and sending them a letter of how much you appreciate their company. Make up a really interesting story something like you took one of their cruise ships and how much you appreciated their service and professionalism. Then you can slip in that you would really love to be apart of their family! Describe what you can do and how what you can do can benefit their company. If you are positive and they know you will be loyal to their company they would probably take a second look and a real strong consideration for you joining the company.   . . .
