but if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need.
You rocking out to the Stones today Rob?
ambivalentmace:
Rocking out to Elvis Costello, he has about a week left on earth. Good memories watching him piss off the media with playing "radio, radio" on saturday night live when the told him not to do it. The music encyclopedia songwriter was the smartest musician I ever met. He was the direct opposite of Elton John and best friends.

The stones are wrong, at least in my expericance....I always get what I want....never what I need
Stiggs:
You get what you want, but can you get that satisfaction?
It seems like the Stones can't... I wonder if they wrote that song just after they wrote the one about not getting what you want.

I predicted this last year and people said I was crazy. Sometimes what you want everybody hates. So you don't want to pay your fair share, 2 percent gdp for Nato, and you want America to pick up the tab, well maybe our troops can come home to save money to pick up your tab. So we guard you and pay you money for the privilege, the prostitute pays me for the work, NOT ANYMORE.
A third of active-duty U.S. military troops overseas — more than 60,000 — are stationed in Europe, including 35,000 in Germany, 12,000 in Italy, 8,500 in the United Kingdom and 3,300 in Spain, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of information from the Defense Manpower Data Center, a statistical arm of the Defense Department. Thousands more rotate into other European countries temporarily.">

Why in the hell are 8500 American troops in Britain?
let's see, what could they be doing there
1. teaching proper English at night to the oafs that live there
2. shagging frigid feminists to increase the population
3. secretly spying on Pakistani pedophiles
4. planning an exit of pro Brexit voters from the coming civil war.
5. guarding there CIA puppet mayor of London
Any body know what 8500 American troops do in England, Inquiring minds want to know. The War was over in 45, so 73 years later, we are still there. how about a cut off date for troops like the year 2810, put a number on it. NO,NO, better idea for the neocons, we cut the force by 2 soldiers every year so in 4,250 years, all troops are removed from England, that is some serious cost savings, brilliant minds think a like, what can I say, your welcome.
ambivalentmace:
I guess I can remove number 2 from the list. Some men are not going to get what they want.
Say Hello to Mick for me ~

"Time Is On My Side"
Time is on my side, yes it is
Now you always say
That you want to be free
But you'll come running back (said you would baby)
You'll come running back (I said so many times before)
You'll come running back to me
Oh, time is on my side, yes it is
Time is on my side, yes it is
You're searching for good times
But just wait and see
You'll come running back (I won't have to worry no more)
You'll come running back (spend the rest of my life with you, baby)
You'll come running back to me

They were from the era that made original music that lasts. Classic rock. When they die they'll probably sell another three million albums.
