i havent been dressing like middle age chinese women, as i am a male.  but, i have noticed my closet has more and more of the chinese male short sleeved business polos with eccentric designs in the pocket and under the color...

Yes, and I am surprised to say I enjoy it, I mean it makes me feel free, feel alive, but it's hard to find colorful women's clothes in men's size XXXL and I still hate shaving my legs. It's not easy, guys!

I tried that pulling the shirt up to my breasts to cool the tummy thing the guys here like to do but the temperature was -30C so I ended up in hospital while they chiseled the ice from my belly button!!!

Nothing can possibly be less attractive than the way middle aged Chinese women dress. A nice TPau and you'll have China in your heart. 

Being a man, shirt and jeans seems to be not much different than anywhere in the world. Except I had one of those sweaters with a shirt-neck sown in so it looks like you are a fancy person wearing two pieces when in fact it is only one. It was donated to a salvation army kind of places in Scandinavia. 

In no way i will wear a pink shirt or anything fashionable here.

I stick with my wrangler or lee, white t-shirt or anything. wearing shoes which are comfortable, but not flashing or with 34 colours. and the sweaters or jackets common people wear ? jeeeez. if they wear columbia or ozark, is still ok, but the common one....

And, when I take my wife to Esprit, dress her and than she come the the workplace and they said is not fashionable... because they need have LV shit... They sell fakes to others in order to make money for real stuff. I forbid her to continue this job. she likes the salary, so just weekends now ...

When I was at university here in Beijing we used to see an interesting trend where when people arrive they all have their own distinctive styles but as each semester goes on you can see everyone's outfits trending towards a similar style. Might be just the university I attended but everyone started dressing like the Koreans. the majority of guys would end up wearing track pants and hoodies. 

I wouldn't say I dress Chinese now, but maybe my style has changed to a the 'foreigner in Beijing' style as we all shop at the same markets so we have the same choices. 

i find the patterns and styles of clothes worn by women and girls too fussy.

i prefer clean tailoured lines and simple colours to my clothes.

Anyway there is nothing worse than seeing a woman of a certain age wearing sequins and hot-pants.

i am built like a european woman with more curves than is acceptable here and i just don't have the legs for short skirts  

I didn't think my fashion had changed that much. But when I went home people kept telling me it had - no one would say what though, so I'm still in the dark. 

Nope...never changed...and will never change..Just like unchangeable mountains I dress like trekkers or ready for hike anytime...
