Q: Is your house full of plastic bags and general clutter?

Or receipts? Or general pieces of paper? I seem to have collected a lot of clutter while in China. It's all the bags and leaflets and so on. I'll make sure to do a big tidy up soon, though does this happen to you?

No. I hate clutter and even things that are worth money, if I don't use them for a long time then I chuck them, same with women.

No, not really as I throw away the trash almost every single day or when it gets too full. The receipts are useful I can get a refund on them so you know how that works. I'm lucky to have a pretty decent size room to put all those plastic bags in one corner...(Drunk!!

No. I burn everything. I burnt my bridges, my birth certificate, my wife, my thumb. I don't know how to deal with it all. My thumb hurts.

It's those goddamn fruit + veggie red, thin, shi**y bags which pile up in my house. I think to reuse them the next time I'm down there but I don't feel comfortable playing the bin man role flapping my superman non bio-degradable red bag cape. Also, after a few days of being in my fridge or out and about in my humid room with a bit of a grime at the bottom they're more or less unusable. I just chuck em'. Damn you China, you've sucked out the last of any environmentalist blood I had left. .

Menus and meinu's too. They're just clutter.

I have to secretly chuck out shoe boxes, plastic bags, styro-foam,packing materials and all sorts of other crap before my mother - law sees it and finds a place to store it.

The idea of storage is completely lost on her. She believes storage refers to items I have listed above as opposed to seasonal clothing or rarely used appliances. Her closets are full of cardboard, books, plastic and paper bags, boxes and my wife's middle school clothes.

andyinshenyang:

I have the same thing here, but it's my girlfriend who is unable to part with useless stuff.  Luckily, her mom is in town for a few days and she's on my side!  I have really enjoyed throwing out old shoe boxes and five year old broken sneakers over the past few days!

Yesterday we started the De-clutter Program

There are guys down stairs waiting  like seagulls for a chip to come their way

My Farther in-law has a tear in his eye like he is saying goodbye to an old friend

So that's what colour the shelf is crying

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
