Q: Your worst motorbike taxi experience?

Last night, on my drunk trip home on a motorbike, he cut up the inside of a turning artic.. I could feel the heat of the arctics brakes on my ruddy cheeks. Never again I said to myself.

But tonight.. sigh. Will I survive?

Whats your best or worst motorbike taxi experience?

The driver agreed to take me to (big brand supermarket). I knew that the total ride should take about 10 minutes. After about 8 minutes or so the driver stopped and told me he wouldn't take me any further because it was too far and demanded I pay more money. I told him to take me to my destination as he agreed. After arguing back and forth, I started to walk away without paying. He took his bike lock and came after me getting ready to hit me over the head. I disarmed him and took him by the cuff and ended up ripping his paper quality shirt. I gave him ten rambos for his shirt.

I usually avoid motorbike taxis like the plague, they just seem like accidents waiting to happen to me and I know from bitter experience there's nothing worse than coming off a bike.

I do remember being on the back of one drunk somewhere... think it was Vietnam, the traffic was so heavy that we were almost rubbing knees with the scooters next to us and I wasn't happy at all about the safety of that. I remember thinking Feck it, he does this every day and presumably is fine 99% of the time so the odds are on my side, just don't think about it and enjoy the ride.

haha,, yeah,, that brings back memories,,,  bopping in and out and around about on those things and where your leg is sliding down the body of the car u are scrunching by,,,,  haha,,, I remember first few times experiencing that and trying to imagine how to explain that in the US...   kinda a different outlook on the 'Safety First' thing....
