Q: Anyone been to Ningbo?

Lived there, done that! weather sucks, wet cold and rains a lot!!!
smog is very bad, its very far from the ocean considering it seems closer and the ocean is mainly shipping and no beaches.
People drive scooters like maniacs and no courtesy. compared to numerous other cities Ive driven motos bicycles and scooters.
food prices are high and the markets usually sell outdated food stuff, including vanguard and Tesco.
its a clothing factory town that makes fashion clothes for mainly chinese brands.
people have money so they drive expensive cars and try to run you over driving the wrong way because they have an expensive relative to a chinese brand.
good luck.....I have no desire to go back there.
Yes. Lots of kids with red banners. Lots of factories make "heading machines". Ningbo is the world capital of silver tipped electrical contacts.
No, but I know a guy who was living there. From what I understand it's a nice place to live.

The air is so polluted that ashes fall from the sky like black snowflakes. I have been to at least 20 cities in China. Of all of those cities, the women of Ningbo are the ugliest.
