Q: Complete lack of variety

I found out that my favorite restaurant in Guangzhou, Tekila (authenticish Mexican) is closed. So now the choices for non-fat food, non-rice variety is down by 1

There's a small Tex-Mex craft beer place around the back of Teemall/Grandview Mall that is supposed to be okay. Run by a guy called Tristran.

Restaurant address  天河南路六运一街25号101(地铁体育西路B或H出口) Tiyu xilu metro exit B, walk straight, make a left after the small white building, walk straight 1 and a half more blocks, we are on the right hand side behind the bicycle parking (note to Mods. I am NOT associated with this place, not advertising, just advising another poster)

Thanks buddy. I'll try to find it next time

More and more foreigners are opening restaurants in China. Why not a try?

Stiggs:

It's not that easy opening a restaurant, doesn't matter where you are. It's one of the industries that has a high fail rate.

I can think of five people off the top of my head that I've known and who got involved in a restaurant in China, only one is still there.

If you could afford Tekila, try 13 Factories for some really good American food. It's on the west side of the Sports Center, closest metro is Lin He Xi, Exit B, walk straight across Tiyu Xilu toward the Sinopec Building and turn left at the first small street, go left (south) a couple of hundred meters to the end of that small road.

Unfortunately Tristan's is now closed due to noise complaints & licensing issues. He's hoping to reopen soon in a new location

A: If you received an online degree in most cases it should have been from a reputable college. If it came from a degree mill that definitely would be a problem. You should not worry about how they will contact this place. If the degree is considered authentic the people will know where to go to inquire. In my case I needed a copy of my diploma and one company in China recommended a Clearinghouse that was able to verify my degrees. They did not provide copies of the diploma, though. If the place where you received this degree is acceptable in your country then, it should be acceptable in China.Another point to consider you stated it was an MS degree. I have not aware of any programs that allow students to hop from a high school education to a Masters degree level education. With that said maybe you received a Bachelors degree. If that is the case submit that information.  I would not encourage you to lie. In that you definitely will not have any paper trail to back up your story. Some companies do not accept TEFL online especially if it came from International Open Academy. That place is a one room office. I would consider that a TEFL mill. It was such a waste of time.Do you have the ability to do searches online? -- slspringer22
