Q: Does anybody know what are they building next to Maglev station with railroads?
During long time I didn't pass walking through Longyang road metro station, this week I just passed & realized there's something like a train station. Does anybody know where are those trains going or coming from?

Where is Longyang road metro?
They might building G train tracks and G Railway Station, like elsewhere in China.
If it looks like bridge, it's probably G train construction.
Eorthisio:
Longyang Lu Station is the terminal of Shanghai's Transrapid maglev that link the city with Pudong airport.

OK, I don't much about Shanghai, but when travel around China, I saw 'bridge like constructions' all over the place, and they're 'G train constructions'. In some cities, G train has new train station too, as in Nanjing and others.
From the Shanghai Metro Master Plan 2020 Longyang road is planed to:
1. Be a stop for a future line 7
2. Be a stop on the Hangzhou - Pudong Airport high speed rail.
Note: the most recent plan I have access to is from 2008 so things might have changed.
icnif77:
That is a serious job Chinese are undertaking with G train constructions. It will became meaningful 'traveling device' in the future China, for difference to individual transportation (cars) in other countries.
It's the extension of the Line 16, which is an elevated line. The first phase has already been completed to Luoshan Road, which interchanges with Line 11. Line 16 will continue from there to Longyang Road and then beyond to somewhere else in the sticks.
