1- Take a shower 3 or 4 times a day.

2- Find a nice cool spot to "chill" (pun intended). Could be a spot where a nice breeze, fan or the good ol' A/C is on full blast.

3- Nice COLD bottle of beer.

4- repeat as necessary.

I prefer not big swings in temperature, that even harder. Same as eating ice cream, makes you thirsty.

Loose clothes and point 1 and 3 yes that is a nice one.

China has such a nice long heat spell. Being Canadian, I don't know if I'll ever get tired of hot weather. It's draining if I walk too far, but its perfect for riding a scooter, a good way to stay cool. I do like AC when I sleep. It was 42 when I was in Thailand and I walked miles in it. In the summer in Canada, at night it can still be cold, often too cold to ride a motorcycle, not China.

I don't even want to go out in a Canadian winter. I have all wheel drive and heated seats in my car  but I'll take hot weather. In Guilin the trees don't loose their leaves in winter. In Canada every thing looks dead. I love the heat.

Scandinavian:

I met a 70 something Canadian guy the other day, fresh of the boat. Asked how he felt about the heat he just said "I've frozen enough in my life".

Easy to deal with for me, I love the hotter than shit weather compared to winter.  Put on some shades and loose clothing, drink lots of fluids, and take it easy while walking; don't run or carry anything too heavy in the heat.  Also, wear a good deodorant so you don't smell like all the other pigs on the subway or bus.

Also, the girls with their short shorts and long legs keep me highly motivated during the Summer to not sit inside next to the A/C everyday.

I usually stay home as much as possible during the day near the AC. At night a prefer to go to air conditioned restaurants. I can't take the heat very well.

It takes me all summer to thaw out after winter here. The hotter the better. Getting dressed in summer each day constitutes 3 pieces of clothing plus sandals. Winter is about 10 - 13 pieces of clothing and a pain in the arse.

Stay outside in the cold of winter too long and you die.

Stay outside in the heat of summer too long and you might get sunburnt but you will get thirsty.

Anything over 35C reminds me of home. Good enuf!

For the first times during the summer I go to work early and leave late, just so I can suck up my companies A/C instead of my apartment; wife is Chinese; she actually forces this.
