It's always difficult in Qingdao. Foreign guys here are so Shy .. O.M.G They won't say anything to u even if they like u . How could i do ??

Everyone's being so nice here - let me balance it a little.

Your starting idea is that 'foreign' guys you meet like you and want to talk to you but don't. Why do you think that? Perhaps they're simply not as interested as you think. Just because a man checks you out doesn't mean he wants to have your babies.

I don't think I met a single shy guy in China. I met some who liked their own company and didn't need to be around people all the time, but that's not the same as shy.

Regardless, the adult thing to do is to talk to people you find interesting and see where that takes you.

I would not try too hard. There are some foreigners in China that I would not trust with 5 Yuan. If I were you, I would say no more than I would say yes. To meet good people, try a a library, church, museums, clubs that offer things you are interested in. I have met too many foreigners and Chinese people who end up with the wrong person because they were a little too desperate to find some body- any body really. I believe that love comes to you when you are not always looking. Good luck.

Yes, by the current Labour law provision, you qualify for an English teaching job in China despite you hold a non-native English passport.However, most recruiters and language schools aren't aware of that, so you most likely won't get too many replies at your job applications, but ... Never mind! Don't stop sending your CV until you land the invitation for an interview. You might want to stick the sentence about your eligibility for a legal English teaching job in China into the Intro letter or anywhere in your CV.As soon as you'll land an invitation for the interview, make sure you'll mention that provision to the interviewer, first!
